Nyerere National Park
Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park via Dar es Salaam & Boat Safari
Today's Experience
Our professional driver will pick you up at Dar es Salaam from where you will travel by boat to Zanzibar. Proceed to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) via Kilwa road, a trip of about 5 hours, while Kisarawe road will be 3 hours. Upon arrival, you will be taken by our professional drivers to the accommodation for relaxation. On the same day, from 16:00 up to sunset, you will do a boat safari tour on the Rufiji River, the biggest and longest river in Tanzania. It is approximately 600 kilometers (370 miles) long, with its source in southwestern Tanzania and its mouth on the opposite side of the Indian Ocean. The river has many attractions including crocodiles, hippos, river cliffs, birds and more.

Nyerere National Park
Full-day Game Drive & Flying Back to Zanzibar
Today's Experience
After breakfast, you will do a full-day game drive from 07h30 until the evening in Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve). The journey will start from the camp or Lodge where you will be picked up by our professional drivers and guides. Today, you will get to enjoy various tourist attractions like spotting wildlife including elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope and more. You will also see birds and other landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon you will get a packed lunch and some time to rest, then continue with the game drive. In the afternoon at around 15h45, you will be taken to the Mtemere Airstrip for the flight back to Zanzibar at around 16h00.
