DAY 1

Hotel Pick-Up in Zanzibar – Flight to Nyerere NP – Game Drive

Our professional driver will pick you from the Hotel to Zanzibar International Airport for flying to Nyerere National Park. After arrival you start the journey to Selous Game Reserve with our professional driver and tour guide. At Selous game reserve you will do full day drive, In the afternoon you will get a packed launch and time to rest. Then continuing with the game until sunset, where you will be back at Selous Safari Lodge for dinner, sleeping and preparation for the next schedule.

DAY 2

Bushman Walking Safari – Village Tour – Boat Safari

In the morning you will before breakfast you will do bush walking Safari for 1 hour and Half then back for breakfast. From 10AM you will do a village tour at Mloka village until the time of lunch, you will be back at the camp for lunch. At 4:00 PM you will go to the Rufiji River for a boat safari until sunset where you will be back at Selous Safari Lodge for Dinner, sleeping and preparation for the next day's schedule.

DAY 3

Full-Day Game Drive & Hot Spring Visit

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive through different ecosystems of Nyerere National Park. Traverse varied terrains including grasslands, riverine forests, and miombo woodlands as you search for the Big Five and other rare species like wild dogs. Your guide will take you through less-traveled routes, providing in-depth knowledge of wildlife behavior. Enjoy a bush picnic lunch in the wild and visit a natural hot spring, where you can take photos and relax for a moment. Return to your lodge by late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

Full-Day Boat Safari in the Park

Today offers a unique perspective of the park via water. After breakfast, you’ll set out for a full-day boat safari within the park, navigating various branches of the Rufiji River and its lakes. This aquatic adventure gives you an up-close view of crocodiles, hippos, aquatic birds, and herds of animals drinking from the shores. Enjoy a picnic lunch on a river island or peaceful bank and continue exploring this rich water-based ecosystem. Return in the evening to your lodge for dinner and rest.

DAY 5

Maasai Cultural Experience – Flight to Zanzibar – Hotel Drop-Off

After breakfast, drive to a nearby Maasai village for an enriching cultural experience. Meet Maasai warriors, learn about their customs, traditions, and daily life, and participate in their dances and rituals. Then get back lodge/camp for the lunch, After the lunch and rest, transfer to the airstrip for your 4 PM flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar airport, a driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel, marking the end of your incredible 5-day safari experience.
