Today's Experience
You will be picked up at 4:00 AM from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and begin the scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, arriving mid-morning. After a short rest, enjoy a full-day game drive across the park’s open plains, known for sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Enjoy lunch inside the park and continue exploring until sunset. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near the park.

Mikumi to Nyerere National Park | Boat Safari
Today's Experience
After breakfast, depart Mikumi and drive to Nyerere National Park, passing through remote villages and scenic terrain. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy lunch. At 4:00 PM, embark on a sunset boat safari on the Rufiji River an unforgettable experience where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks. Dinner and overnight at a camp or lodge.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive inside Nyerere National Park with a packed lunch. Start your day with an early morning (06:30AM) walking safari led by an local guide, giving you a closer look at the flora, tracks, and smaller animals of the bush.
